The search is on! We are looking for a place to call “home”. Since we live across the country, much of our investigation has been online. The internet is amazing how it allows you to scan up and down the streets as if you are there (almost). You can look at the houses next door, across the street, etc… to see how well your potential neighbors take care of their home, how many cars are in the driveway, etc… It certainly does not take the place of physically being in the space, but it really is a remarkable tool.
California houses are not like Illinois houses. This is not breaking news. But I never thought I’d live in California, so I need to wrap my head around this. I’m not going to find my current house in Cali. And what am I going to do without a basement?!
